Do you prefer farmhouse or modern furniture?
“All of it. My design goal is to compliment the surrounding theme. For example, a living room could have sleek and clean edges with dark tones. A rough sawn farmhouse dining table may not fit. But then again.. If it’s your home, styles can be whatever you want.”

“I like to get in the plane and go. Recently, I traveled to Puerto Rico. A very beautiful place! Next on the list..Italy. Imagine building tables for vacation homes in Venice..”

What is Liqwood Forest?
Imagine an 8 year old kid riding to a construction site. Riding in a 90’s model F-150 passenger seat. I grew up around construction. My dad has been a general contractor my entire life. Some kids want to be a fire fighter. I wanted to be just like my pops. This lead me to pursue the College of Architecture in 2010. Unfortunately, plans had to change. My degree finished in Business. However, my pops offered me a position in his company. There my understanding in construction grew. Eventually, my desire for a start-up grew too.
Initially, this company began as a sole proprietorship in my duplex garage. Building one table at a time. Then came along Etsy. A few years later, my mind started to wander about acquiring material. A few years later, my efforts turned towards home building. Now, these ideas have become action.
Today, this company is growing like a tree…Ironic. Liqwood Forest is becoming more than I dreamt up. Custom Furniture is an accessory to a fully specialized construction company. We salvage trees on land developments, build homes, and furniture. Design choices in the building are highly important. However, the most important is your experience. Even if that means reworking an entire project.
Admittedly, my expectations have been exceeded by the communities trust in LF. They have allowed my ideas and effort into their lives. Looking forward to the coming experiences in store for Liqwood Forest.

What I like to eat during a busy work day.
Working in the shop can be taxing. So, my go to meals are as nutrient dense as possible. Protein and all those other healthy words but Tacos and anything authentically Mexican is my favorite lunchtime snack!
